研究生須知 Note For Master Students
- 畢業門檻 Degree Requirements:

畢業至少應修34學分:必修10學分(含論文6學分、書報討論4學分),選修24學分(專業選修至少24學分)。

Before graduation, each student should complete at least 34 credits including 10 required
credits (6 credits for Thesis and 4 credits for Seminar) and 24 elective credits (at least
24
credits should be completed from professional elective courses).

- 研究生須於在學期間完成下列規定:
研究生應於申請學位考試前至「教育部臺灣學術倫理教育資源中心」網路平臺完成學術研究倫理教育課程,至少6小時課程。(詳細資訊於入學後另外通知。)
經指導教授同意投稿研討會論文或期刊論文一篇,學生須為該論文除指導教授、共同指導教授外的第一作者或通訊作者。(更換指導教授者,則須完成經新任指導教授指導投稿之研討會論文或期刊論文)
Before graduation, each student should complete Academic Research Ethics Education Course,
which
is 6 hours required course with 0 credit. (The course's information be provided later.)
With the approval of the advisor, the student must submit one conference paper or journal
paper.
The student must be the first author or corresponding author, excluding the advisor and
co-advisors.
(If the advisor is changed, the student must complete and submit a conference paper or
journal
paper under the supervision of the new advisor.)
- 研究生至少需於本系所教師開課科目中修畢24學分(不含論文及書報討論)。因研究需要,經指導教授及系主任同意,得選修他所開授之科目計入此24學分中,但最多以6學分為限,語文類課程(科技日文、科技英文、科技論文寫作、工業德文)最多採計3學分。
Graduate students have to complete at least 24 credits offered by the teachers in the
department
(not including Degree Thesis and Seminar courses). For research needs, ones can take courses
offered by other departments after the approvals of supervisor and director of department,
which
are counted in 24 graduate credits where at most 6 credits is adopted, in addition,language
courses (like Technical Japanese, Technical English, Technical Thesis Writing and
Engineering
German) at most 3 credits are adopted.
- 研究生必須通過碩士班論文口試後准予畢業。畢業時,依法授予工學碩士學位。
Graduate students have to pass the oral defense for graduation. Once graduation, ones are
awarded Master Degrees of Science in Engineering.
- 研究生應於入學當學期結束前,選定職級為助理教授(含)以上之教師擔任學位論文指導教授,並請教授於指導教授同意書上親自簽名,再送回系辦公室備查。
1.獨立指導:由機械系一位教師擔任指導教授。
2.共同指導:由機械系一位教師擔任主要指導教授,機械系或外系一位教師擔任共同指導教授。

Graduate students must select a faculty member with the rank of Assistant Professor or above as their
thesis advisor before the end of the semester(June 28, 2026).
The advisor must personally sign the "Advisor Consent Form" and submit it to the department for
filing.
1. Single Advisor: One faculty member from the Department of Mechanical Engineering serves as the
thesis advisor.
2. Co-advising: One faculty member from the Department of Mechanical Engineering serves as the
primary advisor, and another faculty member from this department or from another department serves
as the co-advisor.
